When we had completed recording the first album on our label Dunkeld Records back in 1983 we were looking for an idea for the front of the LP. I had jFollowing the use of the watercolour painting “Craigie Dhu Cottages” on the very first album front on the Dunkeld Records label, it was decided to   call the album simply “Craigie Dhu”. The album was released and eventually earned a gold disc for sales … and folk seemed to love ‘the painting on the sleeve’ idea! So ever since that year a Jennifer MacLean painting or weaving  has been worked into the album artwork in some way … here are just some of 'the album paintings '... just click on each paining to reveal details of the album it belongs to!
